We are currently recruiting graduate students to help us host science demonstrations at local elementary schools! We ask teachers to provide topics that fit their science curriculum or we select topics from our own research. We then plan interactive presentations and fun activities to engage students by appropriately communicating to their knowledge level. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please contact the Co-Chairs below.

Teacher Testimonials:

“They presented information at the students level. Information was great -would be great if there could be a few visits rather than just one- kids love learning from ‘experts’”. – March, 2018

“Loved the interactive component of conducting an experiment! What a fantastic presentation, please come back to our school and do more! So many teachers have approached me asking if you could come into their rooms.” – May, 2018

“I liked how the presenters were great with the students as well as the hands on activities. I also liked that the presenters talked a little bit about themselves and what they are taking in University hoping to inspire others. I suggest/hope that they create more mini sessions to be able to go into the classrooms more often in a school year. It was a pleasure having them.” – June, 2018
